Toronto’s Iconic Pride & Remembrance Run Is Back This Saturday With a New Race Theme

TORONTO, June 21, 2023 /CNW/ - The sold-out run will return to the streets of Church-Wellesley Village on Saturday, June 24, for its 27th year. The race theme, “Remember Your Why,” encourages participants to reflect on the history and significance of the race. The Run is the only annual athletic event held during Pride Month, with options for a 5 km run and 3 km walk both honouring the themes of pride and remembrance founded in the aftermath of the AIDS crisis.

The party atmosphere is unlike any other race. There will be drag queens, DJs, rainbows, bubble machines, cheer sections and more.

The Run is proud to be working with five charities: Asian Community AIDS Services, Black Coalition For Aids Prevention, Buddies In Bad Times Theatre, The 519 and Pride & Remembrance Foundation.
